Other State Services

Out of State Registration and Plates include at least 1 license plate, registration document and\or sticker depending on the state you are seeking to register in. All required documents must be received using the shipping label provided and transactions are processed on a next business day basis from date of receipt based on tracking information. The time to completion for the registration depends on the state you selected and can vary. If documents or payment are not received, they will not be processed. Once we are in receipt of your documents, a DMVSTOP agent will contact you if anything is missing, additional payment is required or if we are set to move forward.

Required documents include:

• Drivers license
• Insurance card with the vehicle information you are seeking to register, name of registrant and an effective date within 30 days of the day you are seeking to register your vehicle
• Original title and bill of sale (if any)
• If purchased from a dealership, please include any other documents they gave you including reassignments, lien releases, affidavits, etc
• FL or NJ transactions incur an additional fee of $50
• Other documents may be required and will be requested upon receipt of your request for service including inspections from your home state, VIN verifications and more.

 

If we are unable to process your transaction after a review of your full document packet, a full refund may be provided depending on the circumstances and is at the sole discretion of DMVSTOP. Refunds are not provided if you fail to send us the requested documents, valid insurance, valid driver license images, valid title without alterations or damage, or any other reason that is out of our control including if you request the transaction to be cancelled before or after we are in receipt of your paperwork. A partial service fee credit will be provided if you wish to cancel your transaction and is at the sole discretion of DMVSTOP. Credit card processing fees are non-refundable if charged. If a refund is provided, it will be in the form of a check or refund to your credit/debit card. It can take up to 7 business days to show on your account if refunded to your debit\credit card. Processing time for refunds are between 3-5 business days for all other types of payments.

By using this service, you also understand that we are NOT the DMV but a DMV service and charge a convenience fee for our service. You agree to pay the convenience fee, depending on what service you selected, and additionally you agree to pay the taxes due depending on what amount of money you paid for the vehicle. Furthermore, you also agree to pay the registration fee, which may be more or less than what was quoted. You also certify that you and no one else is filling out this form and requesting this service, and that the license provided, title, and any other pertinent documents not covered by the aforementioned are true and legitimate. Any false or fraudulent statement on this application is illegal and constitutes fraud and is punishable with both civil and criminal penalties. By clicking the "Submit" button, you agree to be bound by the terms of this agreement.

You acknowledge and accept our process which includes primary communication via email including invoicing, requests for additional documentation, and errors on paperwork, rejected documentation or successful completion of your transaction. You also acknowledge that DMVSTOP in no way warrants the paperwork you submit to us for this type of application. We submit the documents as you provide and do not guarantee any results. You also agree that processing times vary depending on the state where service is being rendered, type of transaction and time period when it was submitted. Any estimate on processing time is only an estimate, and DMVSTOP is not responsible should those times change for reasons listed below but not limited to delays due to the pandemic, shortages in DMV staff, lost paperwork, requests not being followed by the DMV, circumstances out of our control or any reason not listed. Additionally, you also agree that DMVSTOP in no way guarantees delivery of your plates, registration document or any other documents for a transaction that you solicited through our website or in person at our store. We use a third party shipping carrier, FedEx, to provide on time and traceable shipments and do our best to communicate with you on confirmed shipping addresses. None of our shipments are sent with signature requirements unless specifically requested and such a request must be approved and in writing. In the event your item is lost in transit, DMVSTOP reserves the right to charge you once again for the service in full depending on the circumstances and is at the sole discretion of DMVSTOP. Some transactions cannot be resubmitted and will require alternative means to resolve.

DMVSTOP does not nor does it warrant the delivery services offered by FedEx or any of its subsidiaries or contractors. We do not guarantee delivery of any items. Once FedEx is in possession of your shipment, they and they alone are responsible for its delivery to the address you provided at checkout. For transactions left unfinished at our office for a period not to exceed 6 months (180 days), the paperwork will be returned to the address you provided for billing or shipping. We will not be liable for documents left in our office beyond that time and you will be notified with a tracking email when your documents are returned to you. It is your responsibility to communicate with us in the event you are unable to complete your transaction within the 6 month period.

Electronic Signature Consent: A. Electronic Signature Agreement: By submitting your electronic signature, you are signing this Agreement electronically. You agree your electronic signature is the legal equivalent of your manual signature on this Agreement. By selecting "I Accept" you consent to be legally bound by this Agreement's terms and conditions. You further agree that your use of a key pad, mouse or other device to select an item, button, icon or similar act/action, or to otherwise provide DMVSTOP. instructions via this website, or in accessing or making any transaction regarding any agreement, acknowledgement, consent terms, disclosures or conditions constitutes your signature (hereafter referred to as "E-Signature"), acceptance and agreement as if actually signed by you in writing. You also agree that no certification authority or other third party verification is necessary to validate your E-Signature and that the lack of such certification or third party verification will not in any way affect the enforceability of your E-Signature or any resulting contract between you and DMVSTOP. You also represent that you are authorized to enter into this Agreement for all persons who own or are authorized to access any of your accounts and that such persons will be bound by the terms of this Agreement. You further agree that each use of your E-Signature in obtaining DMVSTOP services constitutes your agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions of the DMVSTOP. Disclosures and Agreements as they exist on the date of your E-Signature. B. Valid and current email address, notification and updates: Your current valid email address is required in order for you to obtain Skip the Trip Online services. You agree to keep DMVSTOP informed of any changes in your email address. DMVSTOP may notify you through email when an Electronic Communication or updated agreement pertaining to DMVSTOP. Online is available. C. Hardware, software and operating system. You are responsible for installation, maintenance, and operation of your computer, browser and software. DMVSTOP is not responsible for errors or failures from any malfunction of your computer, browser or software. DMVSTOP is also not responsible for computer viruses or related problems associated with use of an online system. The following are the minimum hardware, software and operating system requirements necessary to Skip the Trip Online and receive Electronic Communications: Processor - IBM compatible Pentium PC running Windows 2000 Memory - 4MB RAM Disc Space - 50 MB's Free Space Monitor - 800 x 600 resolutions Browser - Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher Internet access - 28.8 modem or better D. Controlling Agreement. This Agreement supplements and modifies other agreements that you may have with DMVSTOP. To the extent that this agreement and another agreement contain conflicting provisions, the provisions in this agreement will control (with the exception of provisions in another agreement for an electronic service which provisions specify the necessary hardware, software and operating system, in which such other provision controls). All other obligations of the parties remain subject to the terms and conditions of any other agreement.
